"Toddler Tapping Zoo" was specifically designed with Toddlers in mind. It will expand the horizons of infants and toddlers through eye-catching images and amusing sounds of animals.

Since experts have shown that toddlers are more enthusiastic and learn more from realistic photographs than from illustrations, we have designed this app around gorgeous photographs.

Toddlers learn to distinguish sounds, associate sounds with images and fine-tune their motor skills. But most of all, they have a great time.

Read together while spending quality time or use them in an "emergency" to keep them entertained at a restaurant or check-out line.

Unlike other apps that feature more animals, our tapping zoo consists of a smaller but carefully selected list of animals. Bigger is not always better. We have made sure that both the images and sounds can be easily recognized as different by toddlers. Donkeys are very nice, but it can confusing for younger toddlers to tell them apart from horses. Tigers are beautiful, but their roar is too similar to that of the lions.
Our application uses the whole screen of the iPod/iPhone and allows for simple sequential navigation. You don’t have to go back to the menu again and again.

Toddlers love repetition too. Seeing the same animals over and over helps them learn and allows they to reencounter them often, which for them is hilarious. (We know it can be frustrating as a parent, but they love it).

"Toddler Tapping Zoo" contains images and sounds of the following animals:

Dog, cat, cow, horse, pig, sheep, rooster, parrot, owl, duck, lion, elephant, monkey, bear, orca, dolphin, mouse, snake, frog, camel, hippo, squirrel, koala, eagle, bee, seal, penguin and more.

If your kid likes "Wheels on the Bus" or "Old MacDonald" app he/she will surely love our Zoo. Better than "Toddler Flashcards": we have sounds and a better interface!

My 15 month old loves the pictures, the sounds arent so great. Half of the sounds sound like the correct animal others (mouse, orca, dolphin, monkey) are too off to tell what they are! For the price paid Im overall happy. Maybe an update will come out with better sounds.

Great sound, images and easy navigation. My toddler is delighted and giggles with every animal. But my favorite part is asking him to repeat the animal sounds! Working perfectly well on 3.0.

Thanks for the upgrade. Faster, lighter, and zippier app. My 4 year old enjoys this simple (yet effective) app so much! He chuckles just by seeing the picture of the cow. A little tap and "MOOOOO!!!" and starts to giggle. Worth it every time. 3 cheers for the Tapping Zoo!

I have the new iphone 3gs- and this App is awesome- great for little ones learning animal sounds!

I downloaded this app and shared it with my grandmother who has alzheimers. She enjoyed seeing the animals. The slide interface could be improved; the page turn arrows were of no use. It would be nice if the slide interface worked while ones thumbs are on the left and right side of the screen. That toy where you pull a string and it makes an animal noise sounds better than this app. Maybe thats where the sounds were recorded from!

This app used to freeze on me instantly, so I contacted the Tipitap folks and after a very quick response, they updated the app. It works like a dream now! My 15 month-old loves it! It has saved us in many situations, including a 3-hour long flight. The pictures are great and the sounds are very realistic. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Buy it!!!

Some bad moments

This application has great potential... but we have to really strain to hear it in a silent room.... This defeats the purpose entirely..... Please fix. Thanks

Really have to strain to hear. The kids get distracted by other stuff. This really needs to be fixed. Otherwise there is no point in buying it

Didnt know cats & dogs & crickets & mice were Zoo Animals. Go 2 the bathroom & flush $1 down the toilet, better spent that way then on this app

This would be a good app if it worked. It freezes up all the time and some of the sounds dont work.

No sounds. Locks up on the cow. May be the iPhone 3.0. Hopefully there is an upgrade that fixes the problems. Oterwise I deserve my money back.

Great idea, but froze up on me the first two times I opened. Appears to need some tweaks for 3.0 software.
